The Smithereens are one of New Jersey's most beloved and longtime rock bands. We are looking forward to this special show - one of their first since Pat DiNizio's untimely passing - with Jim Babjak, Dennis Diken, Mike Mesaros, and special guest Marshall Crenshaw, who was also a guest vocalist at the recent tribute, "Time and Time Again: A Celebration of Pat DiNizio."

In addition to performing their own music, they currently serve as backing group to the legendary Mark Lindsay (former lead singer of Paul Revere And The Raiders).
The latest Grip Weeds release, How I Won The War, is named after the 1967 Richard Lester motion picture. John Lennon's character in Lester's film, "Musketeer Gripweed" inspired the band's name, and the cover design pays homage to the cult classic movie.
