diverse line-up of musicians will perform at this fundraiser for Edeyo Foundation, Lamp for Haiti and the Haitian Education and Leadership Program (HELP), featuring Emeline Michel, a Haitian singer-songwriter who has been called "The Joni Mitchell of Haiti.” Her songs merge native Haitian compas and rara with jazz, pop, bossa nova, and samba. Also performing will be Montclair High School's Passing Notes (choral a cappella), Broadway music by bass-baritone Stephen Bryant and Thomas Parente, Big Mamou (Zydeco), Zing Experience (Haitian roots, rock and reggae), a group featuring Cantor Meredith Greenberg, Leora Perlman and Bob Mellman from Temple Ner Tamid, along with Eva Goldfarb and Rob Maskin, the remarkably swinging Jazz House Kids and Montclair’s Oxygen Box Band.
