About Marc Cohn:

After winning a GRAMMY for his soulful ballad “Walking in Memphis,” Marc Cohn solidified his place as one of this generation’s most compelling singer/songwriters,combining the precision of a brilliant tunesmith with the passion of a great soul man. He’s a natural storyteller, balancing the exuberant with the poignant, and able to distill universal truth out of his often romantic, drawn-from-life tales.  On March 25, 2016, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of his platinum-selling debut album, Marc proudly released Careful What you Dream: Lost Songs and Rarities and the bonus album, Evolution of a Record, featuring never-before-heard songs and demos dating back to years before his debut album and the Grammy Award that followed.

About Valerie June:

Since the release of her 2013 breakout Pushin’ Against A Stone, Tennessee-raised singer-songwriter Valerie June has been patiently at work in the garden of song, nurturing seedlings with love and care into the lush bloom that is her new album, The Order Of Time.

The album in an eclectic blend of folk, soul, R&B and blues.  “People shouldn’t necessarily think of bluegrass when they see the banjo,” explains June. “It was originally an African instrument, and people in America used to play all kinds of banjo: mandolin banjo, ukulele banjo, bass banjo, classical banjo, jazz banjo, there were even banjo orchestras. For some reason people like to limit it and say it just has to be in folk and bluegrass, but to me it can be in anything, and I really wanted to set the banjo free on this record.”

About Ellis Paul:

Ellis Paul is a singular storyteller, a musician whose words reach out from inside and yet also express the feelings, thoughts and sensibilities that most people can relate to in one way or another, regardless of age or upbringing. His songs are about the exhilaration of the open road, the celebration of heroes, and the hope for redemption. Descriptions of those things that are both near and dear. The sharing of love..., intimate, passionate and enduring.  This will mark Paul’s eighth Outpost appearance and makes him the artist who has performed the most times on our stage.
